Zen Ruffinen Marie-Noƫlle

Swiss citizen, Marie-Noëlle Zen-Ruffinen is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Geneva, where she teaches general company law, competition law, debt enforcement, intellectual property and unfair competition law. She holds a PhD in Law and a Lic. Phil. of the University of Fribourg. She taught as lecturer at the University of Fribourg and at the Fachhochschule beider Basel, and as invited lecturer in the International Trade Law Post-Graduate Course at the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in Turin. Her research interests include in particular business law, commercial contracts, trusts, board of directors and corporate governance. Marie-Noëlle Zen-Ruffinen is also Partner at the law firm Tavernier Tschanz in Geneva, Co-President of the RIO Commission of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Geneva and vice-President of the Foundation Council of the Swiss Board Institute (www.swissboardinstitute.ch).
