High quality doctoral education

The Faculty awards a Doctorate of Economic and Social sciences combined with references corresponding to its different areas of specialization.

Doctoral study is available to any student holding a Master or a qualification considered to be of equivalent status, whose research project is approved by a professor of HEC who will supervise his/her doctoral work.

The preparation of a Doctorate entails two stages. The first involves the drafting of a preliminary paper, which must be accepted by an ad hoc committee. The second leads to the preparation of a thesis presented, in public, before a panel composed of experts in the specific field who approve the doctoral work undertaken.

The doctoral thesis generally leads to the publication of several articles in journals or even to the publication of a book.
