Schneider Susan C.
American citizen, Susan Schneider is Professor of Human Resources at the University of Geneva. She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Adelphi, New York. She pursued post-Doctorate studies in the Analysis of Organisations at the University of New York.
Her research and publications relate to the fields of intercultural management, diversity and social responsibility.

Le but de ce cours est d'engager le débat sur le rôle de l'entreprise dans la société. Quelle est la raison d'être d'une entreprise: la maximisation des profits, la valeur des actionnaires ou la satisfaction des partis prenants (stakeholders)? Cette question sera abordée sous différentes perspectives et fonctions: finance, comptabilité, marketing, GRH par des professeurs de l'université ainsi que par des professionnels.

Qu'est ce que la culture ? Quelle est son influence sur le mode de gestion desentreprises? Dans quelle mesure le gestionnaire doit-il tenir compte des spécificité culturelles? Quels profits réels peut-on tirer de l'expérience d'autres cultures et comment? Pour répondre à ces interrogations, l'état de la recherche dans ce domaine, l'influence de la culture sur le lien entre stratégie, structure et gestion des ressources humaines, ainsi que d'autres problématiques liées à la gestion des ressources humaines, ainsi que d'autres problématiques liées à la gestion internationale des ressources humaines telles que l'expatriation, le management de la diversité ou les processus d'apprentissage, sont abordés durant cet enseignement.
