International Management Specialization

Specialization in International Management (90 ECTS)

Globalization and technological advancement have increased opportunities for growth through access to valuable resources as well as entry into new markets. However, these opportunities, for both firms and individuals, create challenges. While there are pressures for convergence to operate in a global market place (think global), there are also pressures for differentiation (act local). In competing in the international market place, firms need to address challenges such as the need for standardization while remaining responsive to local markets, managing human resources from diverse backgrounds,  and utilizing resources and technology to facilitate knowledge transfer and innovation. Thus International Management has become critical both for firms' and individuals' long-term success. In the international management specialization, you will explore current issues in areas such as international strategy, finance, law and intercultural management and prepare yourselves to tackle future challenges as global leaders.
