Surveys on the professional integration of HEC students demonstrate that more than fifty percent of new graduates find a first job even before they have finished their studies or in the month following the completion of their studies. For 75% of them, the time frame for entering the labour market is less than six months. A year after awarding of the degree, 92% of students will have found a job. The others in most cases have extended their university education.
Following their studies, students of HEC Geneva enter all professional sectors, both in Switzerland and abroad. In Geneva, taking account of the specifics of the local economy, opportunities are most often taken up with banks and finance companies, fiduciaries and consultancy firms, insurance, local and international industrial companies, companies linked to international trade (commodities trading, product distribution, etc.), international or global organisations (ICRC, HCR, WTO, etc.) or the public administration.
Almost half of the graduates of HEC Geneva enter the fields of finance (29%) and accounting (19%). 13% take up a professional role in the marketing field.
